consignment
All items at the Makers Collective Pop Up will be sold on a consignment model with a 50/50 split. For example, if an item retails for $20, the Vendor will receive $10 from the sale of that item.
Any unsold items at the end of the Pop Up Shop will be returned to the Vendor in a timely manner.
pricing of items
Vendors are responsible to set the retail price for their items while uploading inventory details into the Vendor Portal.
We request that the retail prices submitted for Vendor products match the prices for the same products sold elsewhere (Online shop, Etsy shop, other retailers, etc.).
VENDOR PAYMENTS
After the close of the Pop Up, the Makers Collective will tally the sold products and send final reports to the Vendors.
Consignment payments will be mailed to Vendors (using the Payee name indicated in the Participation Agreement). Checks will be issued via our bank on January 7.
wrap-up PROCEDURES
After the close of the event, Vendors who reside within the Greenville area must pick up any unsold items on either January 4 (10am-4pm) or January 6 (4pm-7pm).
Makers Collective will pay the return shipping of any unsold items to Vendors who reside outside the Greenville area. Non-local Vendors are welcome to pick up their goods in person if they prefer.
Vendors who are not available to pick up or receive their products during this timeframe must request a special exemption.
Final sales reports will be included with your products.

There are no participation fees for the Spring Pop Up Shop. However, Vendors can be financially penalized for not following the instructions as outlined.
Here are the penalties that may be subtracted from the final payout.
Missed deadline for signing the contract, uploading inventory, or shipping / pick up — $25 per deadline missed
Incomplete/inaccurate product upload or packing list — $10
Improper packaging or mislabeling of products — $2 per mistake
Should a Vendor be subject to any of these penalties, the related fees will be reflected in the final Vendor Payout Report. Fees may be contested with the Makers Collective.

products
PLEASE NOTE
Failure to follow the instructions in sending product may result in financial penalties. The Makers Collective is not responsible for under or over pricing goods if they are mislabeled due to Vendor error.
uploading products
The Makers Collective will use Shopify to run the inventory and checkout system for the Pop Up Shop. We utilize a Vendor Portal app to make it simple to transfer product information into Shopify (product details, pricing, quantities, etc.)
curation of products
In order to maintain a unified aesthetic in the Pop Up Shop, you may be asked to adjust your inventory levels after products are uploaded into the portal.
No products that are offensive, crude, slanderous, or infringe upon copyright or intellectual property will be allowed.
condition of the products
Shipping and/or delivery containers must be well packaged to prevent damage to the goods.
labeling products
All products must arrive at the Shop clearly labeled with pricing stickers that will be provided by Makers Collective. See instructions below.
Makers Collective will print barcode labels for each vendor based on the inventory list entered in the Shopify Vendor Portal. Makers Collective will then mail the stickers to individual vendors.
Vendors are responsible for attaching pricing stickers to their products. The stickers can be attached to a hangtag, sleeve, product packaging, or other surface where the sticker will stay put.
All products dropped off or shipped to the Pop Up Shop must arrive with the stickers adhered to the individual products. We will not stock merchandise that is not labeled.
Your unsold products will be returned to you with our barcode labels attached.
If you have questions about whether or not stickers can be directly adhered to your product, (for example, a ceramic mug) please reach out.
If we request a restock after the shop has opened, Makers Collective will be responsible for labeling that new merchandise.
