IF YOU USE SHOPIFY:
Step #1 - From the Products page in your account, select the items you are sending
Step #2 - Export selected products to a Plain CSV file
Step #3 - Open that document and modify the Variant Inventory Qty column numbers to match the quantities you’ll be sending us. Please do not delete columns even if they seem unnecessary. Email the modified CSV file to lib@makerscollective.org before your upload deadline.
IF YOU DO NOT USE SHOPIFY:
Our Vendor Portal allows you to add your products directly to our Shopify system. Do not modify your listings after your upload deadline. At this point, your item list is considered final and labels printed from the information you provided.

Please note: Feel free to condense your items as much as you’d like. The format you provide us is how we will report sales back to you.
Step #1 - Click Add Product at the top right of the page.
For each product, you will need the following information:
· Product Name: please keep your Product Name to 32 characters or less! Longer names could be cut off on barcode labels.
· Product Type: choose from drop down list.
· Product Price: This is the price that will be listed on the price tag and should match the prices of your items sold online or elsewhere.
· SKU (not required): This is the item number and will be used to label and identify each product. You can use your own system, but if you don’t have one, that’s okay.
· Product Description: Including a description is recommended to encourage online sales.
· Product Photo(s): Including a product image is highly encouraged.
Make sure ‘Track this product’s Inventory’ is selected.
· Enter the quantity you will send. If you plan to add variants to this product, enter 0.
Click Save Changes to add your product to our system.
Step #2 (OPTIONAL, use only if your products have Variants)
A VARIANT refers to multiple options within a single product. The most common variants being Size, Color, Material, etc.
From the same screen, select the Add Variant option at the bottom. Here you can input more product options, adjust for pricing differences between options, and input inventory for each individual version. Choose the type of variant from the dropdown menu (Color, Size, Material, etc) and type in the Options available (for example if my Option Name is ‘Color’, I will add all available colors to the ‘Option Value’ box (mint, black, tan). Click SAVE CHANGES to add your product Variants to the system.
Once your variants are created, you will need to go back and add additional information for each of the variants. Select Edit Details in the Variant Details box, and you can easily adjust prices and quantities for each item variant.
Once a product is created, you can easily duplicate it. From the Product page, click the More Action button and select Duplicate.
